Privacy

We built FireConvertApp because we were tired of uploading files to converters that stared back. This policy is the whole picture — no dark patterns, no small print.

What we collect

Two buckets, and that's it: the file you upload while we convert it, and — if you sign up for Pro — your email address. Everything else (server logs, anonymous analytics) is listed below so you can see it too.

Your files

When you drop a file into FireConvertApp, it's uploaded to our server, converted, and sent back to your browser. The original and the output are then removed from our storage.

Retention: uploaded files and their converted outputs are deleted within 60 minutes.
No training: we do not use your files to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine-learning model.
No sharing: we do not pass your files to any third party (no "partners," no brokers).
No content inspection: we don't open your files to read them. Conversion happens in a sandboxed worker.

Accounts (Pro)

Pro accounts aren't live yet. When they ship, sign-up will be a magic link — we ask for your email address and nothing else. No password, no profile, no phone number. We'll store your email, your plan, and a usage counter so we can bill and enforce limits.

Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card number. Stripe's privacy terms apply to the payment leg.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Both are cookieless and do not fingerprint visitors. They tell us which tools are used and how fast pages load, in aggregate.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracker. The site sets no advertising cookies.

Hosting and processing

The web app runs on Vercel in the iad1 region (Washington, D.C., USA). Files are processed in that region. If you upload from elsewhere in the world, your file transits the public internet to reach our server — we recommend a secure network if your file is sensitive.

Server logs (IP address, user agent, request path, status code) are retained for up to 30 days for debugging and abuse prevention, then deleted.

How long we keep things

Uploaded files + converted outputs: up to 60 minutes, then deleted.
Server logs: up to 30 days.
Account data: kept while your account is active. If you ask us to delete it, we erase it within 30 days.
Billing records: retained as long as required by tax law (typically 7 years in the US), then deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (the EU/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA, and several US state laws), you have the right to:

Ask what data we hold about you.
Correct it if it's wrong.
Delete it.
Export a copy.
Object to processing, or withdraw consent, at any time.

Email radiant.canvaz@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You don't have to quote a statute — plain language is fine.

Children

FireConvertApp isn't designed for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you're a parent and think we have, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that meaningfully affects you, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, if you have a Pro account, email you before the change takes effect.
